We were delighted to support the REDISCOVERY Christmas Charity Fashion Show. This was our second event with the REDISCOVERY team – and what a magical evening it turned out to be!
Held in aid of the HatHats Foundation, the show brought together festive spirit, community, creativity and a room full of supporters ready to celebrate local talent. JTS EVENTS was honoured to once again be part of the production behind the scenes.
Our Role:
For this winter edition, we expanded our technical setup to elevate both the runway and the overall atmosphere:
💡 Lighting Design & DMX Control
We introduced a new winter-themed lighting design featuring dynamic pillar uplighting, colour washes and plenty of atmosphere. This time we were allowed to use smoke/haze, which added a stunning depth and really helped the lighting come alive on the runway.
A pair of neon LED runway strips added a striking edge that really stood out on camera.
🔉 Audio & Music Support
We provided the full audio setup, from music playback to microphone control, ensuring clear announcements and smooth transitions throughout the night.
👠 Runway & Staging Support
We assisted with the layout and positioning of runway elements to ensure an elegant, functional space for both models and guests.
🎶 Live Show Operation
Despite encountering an unexpected equipment failure just before the show – meaning we couldn’t use the fully programmed lighting scenes we had prepared – we adapted quickly, reorganised the setup and delivered a polished, professional lighting experience throughout the evening.
A great reminder that flexibility is everything in live events!
A Fantastic Evening for a Fantastic Cause
The atmosphere was warm, welcoming and full of Christmas energy. The models were fantastic, the backstage crew worked incredibly hard, and the REDISCOVERY organisers once again created a memorable event in support of the HatHats Foundation.
It was wonderful to see so many people come together for such a meaningful cause – and even better to see the confidence, creativity and festive style on display throughout the night.
